I just wanted to provide input on my recent experiences at Synaptic-3
I originally made an appointment for a corner balance and alignment of my 03 Subaru WRX with Synaptic-3 after hearing only good reviews about their service and quality of work, so I took the 3 hour ride up from Westerly, RI to their shop in Candia, NH.
When I arrived, they checked the car over and noted the rear shock was leaking (blown) and they also were unable to adjust the height of 2 of my TEIN Flex coil-overs, as the adjustment rigs were comnpletely frozen. They also determined that the front pillow balls were worn/loose. That put the corner balance on hold...
What many shops would have done at that point would be to say. "Let us know when you get some replacement coil-overs and we'll align it then,..... have a nice day"
These guys didn't do that, they instead hunted all around the shop, found a used pair of STI struts for me to borrow (for free), installed the used items, temporarily aligned the car, and sent the TEIN coilovers back to the distributer for rebuild.
That way I had a safe set of struts to drive back home on and take on track days until the coil-overs came back from rebuild.
If this was any of the other shops I'd been to before Synaptic-3, my choices would have been A) drive with the blown coil-over or B) get a rental car and wait the month that it took to get the coil-overs back from the distributer.
These guys did everything they possibly could to make sure that I had my car back on the road THAT DAY and it was greatly appreciated.
Since, that day I have been a loyal customer.
The coil-overs have been rebuilt/installed/corner balanced, I have had new Cobalt brake pads and rotor rings installed on my Wilwood brakes, and have had Schroth Racing harnesses installed by Synaptic-3. Their attention to detail, right down to using anti-seize lube on all the fasteners, is 1st rate, and I trust the work of these three talented guys enough to make the 3 hour trip up whenever the car needs servicing.
The next step is to have them weld in lower seat framing to mount brackets for my MOMO Super Cup Racing buckets.
These guys have a real passion for what they do and are a great source of knowledge for anyone looking to improve the handling and performence of their car.

I had a custom exhaust made for my Mazdaspeed6. My only requirements were for it to be a quiet, three inch turbo back. Ending in two, two and a half inch exhaust tips. I was amazed, Synaptic 3 got the exhaust perfect the first time. I was more than expecting to have to refuse the car for the "ricey" sound, but there wasn't one. The fit is incredible, looks almost stock, and the sound is beautiful. I couldn't ask for a better performing exhaust, my car loves the new growl!
This is a great group of guys who are easy to deal with, and very friendly. Their work is second to none. I have no problems recommending Synaptic3 to anyone who wants/needs work done on their car.
